Situated just steps from the blue-flag beach in the charming Port de la Selva, the hotel offers a serene setting for a relaxing coastal retreat. The spacious room boasted a great view of the sea from the balcony, providing a peaceful escape. The restaurant, specializing in rice and fish dishes made with fresh local seafood, was a tempting culinary option that I regretfully did not have the chance to sample this time. The staff's exceptional service and the tranquil off-season ambiance of the town ensured a truly memorable stay. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a base to explore the nearby Dalí Museum in Figueras, Cal Mariner offers a delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm that is sure to please any traveler seeking a taste of authentic Costa Brava hospitality.
